Dr Bernadette’s other passion in life is providing a home for 20 Chinese children. Dr Bernadette is the founder, co-ordinator and funder of the Prosperous Future School located in ZhaoJue in Southern China. After the devastating earthquakes that hit areas of China in 2008 and resulted in so many children becoming orphans, it became her dream to set up the school and orphanage to give poverty stricken children the chance of a better future.
